Producers of food packaging are closely involved in the food chain and can therefore significantly influence food safety. Dijkstra Plastics and HK Plastics apply very strict standards when it comes to food safety and traceability of the packaging containers produced by us, with the aim of effectively managing our food safety responsibilities. During the aforementioned audit, Dijkstra Plastics and HK Plastics were also certified with the acclaimed and globally accepted FSSC 22000 standard.
Together, the BRC and the FSSC 22000 certification meet the requirements to guarantee food safety. By applying the HACCP and GMP principles in combination with the conversion of the ISO 9001 to the ISO 22000 standard, we have an improved management system at our disposal that is highly focused on the characteristics of the food processing industry.
To maintain these certifications, constant quality and hygiene are important priorities. A dedicated team of specialists supervise the compliance with these GFSI recognized standards on a daily basis.
